Yoshiki and Hikaru are two boys who live in a certain village. They're the same age and have always been together growing up. But one day, Yoshiki noticed that "something else" has taken Hikaru's place. Even after learning of this, Yoshiki still wants them to be together. And so, his life with the "something" that looks like his friend begins.
At the same time, strange incidents keep occurring in the village...

Where to read (Japanese)

Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu has a free weekly japanese serialization on Kadokawa's Young Ace Up! website. Each chapter is divided in three sub-chapters, meaning you'll get to read one full chapter in a month + the first part of the next one. After the Tankōbon / printed version gets released on March 4th, some chapters will be unavailable to read online.
UPDATE: As of Feb 25th, chapters are already obscured on Young Ace Up!, please pre-order and wait until March 4th.

It also has a free weekly japanese serialization on Pixiv Comic's website, although it's still not up to date with Young Ace Up! website and some chapters are already unavailable.

There is no news of Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu being licensed by any publisher yet.

Where to listen

Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu has a four-part VOMIC / voice comic posted on Youtube. It covers from episodes 1 through 3. It's currently unknown if there's going to be a continuation. The original videos do not include any kind of subtitling / translation, but there's a fansub available (Although, we'd recommend you to watch, like and comment on the original ones to show support)

Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu will get a Tankōbon release in Japan on March 4th, 2022.
It includes a extra 4-page chapter and some bookstores will have limited bonuses.
Still no licensing / publication in English or any other language. Will update as soon as it happens.
